We assembled at the International airport at 3 am and our Tour Leader, Ravi Pednekar, who led us through with our tickets, emigrations etc. Besides our gang, we had a team from Vasai with a Priest, Fr. Louis and a group from Pune, with Fr. Fernando. Totally 48 persons. Then departed from Mumbai by Oman Air at 5.10 am and arrived at Muscat Airport where we met by our representative, who completed the customs and emigration formalities. Since it was a group visa, we were just ticked and sent across. It was a smooth process. Then we had to wait at the Muscat airport for more than 6 hours, to catch our connecting flight to Amman. We spent our time visiting all duty-free shops, looking at the prices and converting into Indian Rupees and deciding to buy or not, slept away until our flight was ready to board to Amman. We collected and breezed through the emigration. At the gate outside, my sister Winnie and my brother in law Ulf, from Germany were waiting for us. They had arrived on Saturday and roamed around Amman by hiring a car and driving around. They really had fun roaming and enjoying the local fares on their own. Seeing the pictures, I was envying their trip. We jumped into our Luxury bus and taken to Hotel Sadeen Amman where we checked to lovely rooms. We were told to have early dinner, to get up at 5am, breakfast at 6am and get ready to leave by 6.30am. So, all rushed to rest and be ready for next day.
